Kageb1
Finally! I got to do a quilt just for FUN! (Remember quilting for FUN?) A friend gave me a panel that reads: She Who buys the most fabric WINS! So I kept adding borders using elements and colors from the panel, and Voila! It's done. I did my first "bump-bump" feathers, and my first Prairie Points (think I got those PPs out of my system!) But the best news for me is that this little project sort of recharged my enthusiasm for customer quilts, too. (We all need that once in a while.) The Crafty Unicorn
I don't think it's gaudy at all and the quilting is great. I am right there with you on the prairie points. I just finished my first ones on a 36 X 36 wall hanging and that is more than enough... a little will last me for a long time.
Bonnie
Well, if you think that is garish and gaudy, you need to get your eyes checked or clean your glasses... I personally thing it looks very nice and very well quilted....

PattyJo
Beautiful quilt - not garish, loud, too bold - none of that from my perspective. I was expecting a LOUD quilt. This one just says hello - look at me. So keep up the good work. Love the quilting on it too. You did a beautiful job.
jmcclannan
Since you think that is garish and gaudy, I would be happy to take it off your hands. It's WONDERFUL - yes it is!!! I think everyone should do prairie points on one quilt in their life and if they like doing them - well, we probably won't be friends.
