Finished quilting Roger's (DH) Amazon Star today. Tried to quilt it a little lighter than some of the Neimeyer quilts I have done.

Ardelle, this is beautiful and I love it. Into my faves!

I can actually imagine being able to quilt this! Love all that you do but only aspire to reach the level of some of your quilts!

That IS line-dancing in the diamonds isn't it? I was trying to see the path you used for the center star too......

Beautiful quilt beautifully pieced well done to you both!

:D Thanks all! I will try and post a drawing of my "line dancing" tomorrow, too lazy right now. Amazon star is a Judy Neimeyer pattern, foundation pieced, none of her patterns are hard once you learn the technique, they are time consuming, but not difficult. Roger always says he would teach a complete beginner (never sat at a sewing machine before) to do a Judy Neimeyer...

Bev, we will definitely have a discussion on quilting these quilts this summer...
