Dave-Jane Posted December 23, 2011 Report Share Posted December 23, 2011 Dave is headed for surgery on his foot today to remove a bone spur and part of a bone that keeps getting infected today. Let's hope this will clear up his foot and it will finally heal!!! This has been going on way too long!! Depending on how much bone and tendons involved, he will be in a cast from 2 to 6 weeks. So lets hope it is the two weeks and he is looking so forward to the pain being gone!!! Merry Christmas!!! ***** Update - It went extremely well - did not need to remove the bone - needed to scrap and remove a small portion. Infected area was very small. No cast - just off of foot for 3 weeks and that will be rough for Dave!!! He is already trying to figure how to keep quilting and keep his foot up - this should be interesting!! RitaR Posted December 23, 2011 Report Share Posted December 23, 2011 Hey, you two, right before Christmas... he just wanted to have an excuse to sit around and watch everyone else.... lol, j/k. really praying for the surgeons work, the nmurses care, the others who work with surgery patients, for Janes peace of mind, the surgery to do what it is to do, and a fast and wonderful healing to remove the pain.
